Festive Sparkling Cranberry Drink

It doesn’t matter if it never truly gets COLD cold in the Middle East, I still insist on making December the coziest month of the year, with warm red tones dominating my home, and adorning my dinner table. Because I’m forcing the winter and festive feels into just about everything these days, of course I had to make a Festive Sparkling Cranberry Drink as well.

My husband and I never ever consume sugary drinks or sodas, but we are complete addicts for sparkling water. As bougie as it may sound, I can almost never have flat water with a meal. The great thing about this particular beverage is that it has more flavor than plain sparkling water on its own, but it still doesn’t taste like a sugary soda and keeps diabetes at bay.

What I love about this Sparkling Cranberry Drink, is that the cranberry juice which is mixed in to the sparkling water is not overly sweet, so it still feels quite like an infusion.

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter sparkling water (I used Monviso)
  • 1 cup cranberry juice (store-bought)
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 blood orange, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries

Method:

Place all the ingredients in a jug, and pour the sparkling water on top. And that’s literally all she wrote.
